What Is on the SAT Practice Website?

Our SAT practice tests cover the same information as the real SAT for an authentic, high-fidelity testing experience. Our SAT specialists have studied real SAT exams to create practice questions that have an identical quality.

The SAT covers two topics: reading and writing, and math. The reading and writing section tests your knowledge of understanding and interpreting language, with 54 questions covering topics such as:

• Craft and structure
• Information and ideas
• Standard English conventions
• Expression of ideas

The craft and structure questions include vocabulary. ETT has a free vocab test to help you practice recognizing and using words in context.

The math section has 44 questions testing essential math skills, including:

• Algebra
• Advanced math
• Problem-solving and data analysis
• Geometry and trigonometry

While you can use a calculator, you'll need to have formulas memorized. The math questions on our practice exams for the SAT help you become familiar with these formulas and problem-solving techniques.

Our SAT Prep Platform Mirrors the Real Exam

You won't need No. 2 pencils and bubble sheets anymore — the SAT exam is now fully digital. The Digital SAT layout doesn't need to be a surprise — our practice tests give you a realistic preview. Our platform has an identical interface to the Digital SAT layout, so you can get familiar with the setup and feel prepared on test day.

During the SAT, you'll have 134 minutes to answer the questions. Our full-length practice tests are timed like the real exam. You can use the unscheduled break feature to pause at any time. If you're approved for time accommodation, our platform will take that into account too.

Scoring the Practice Exam for the SAT

When you've finished your practice test, you'll immediately get your score, so you can see how you would've done if it were the real test. You'll get your reading and writing score, math score and total score. The score distribution chart allows you to visualize your performance relative to other students who have taken our practice tests, so you can see where you stand.

We'll also analyze your test scores to provide a shortlist of target universities, so you can see if your SAT score is what your dream school will accept. The dashboard also includes recommended majors based on your strengths and interests, so you can begin paving the way to professional excellence.
